We recommend beginners take a
lesson your first day on skis or
on a snowboard. Learn the
basics: How to get on and off
the lift, how to fall properly
(and get up), how to stop, how
to turn. You will have more fun.
Lessons are a good idea for
anyone, not just the beginner,
who wants to get the most
enjoyment out of winter sports.
Hawksnest's expert ski instructors
offer group and private lessons
for all experience levels. Our
professional and courteous staff
is there to ensure that you get
the most out of your mountain
experience, and our classes are
a safe, and fun way to learn the
finer points of snowboarding and
